Project Associate for our Australian Office

The Opportunity

We are in search of a project associate who possesses precision, thoroughness, and the capability to confidently manage a diverse range of responsibilities integral to the project development of our offshore wind farm projects. Your role will encompass actively participating in project development, contributing to documentation and communication efforts, engaging collaboratively in stakeholder meetings, and providing essential administrative support. This multifaceted position offers a unique opportunity to help build the renewable energy sector in WA, and develop exceptional skills while navigating various dynamic challenges.

Responsibilities

• Active development: You will participate in and take on responsibilities in driving the continuous development of our offshore wind farms.
• Enhanced writing skills: Your contribution to writing activities will be essential in our documentation and reporting processes, enhancing your communication and technical writing skills.
• Collaborative organization: You will actively participate in stakeholder meetings, taking notes and contributing to the organization’s decision-making process.
• Administrative support: You will provide essential support in day-to-day people operations and assist with various ad hoc tasks, ensuring the smooth functioning of our team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant academic background: Master’s degree and above within business, science, engineering, or other relevant fields. Candidates from different backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
• Fast-paced environment: You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Presentable attitude: You represent an outgoing and positive attitude with a drive to sucseed. You are able to positively portray Copenhagen Energy towards stakeholders.
• Software proficiency: Relevant experience and knowledge in Microsoft Office. Additional experience in related programming languages such as GIS and QGIS, is appreciated.
• Location and availability: You are able to work from our office location in Perth.
• Language proficiency: Exhibit professional proficiency in English, enabling effective communication within our international team.

About Us:

Copenhagen Energy A/S was founded in 2020. We specialize in project development and short-term proprietary wholesale power trading with the aim of providing accessible and affordable power around the globe while combatting the climate crisis.

For the past three year, Copenhagen Energy has been developing four offshore wind project along the coastline of WA. Our most advanced project – Leeuwin Offshore Wind – involves the development, construction and operation of a world class windfarm in an area about 130 km south of Perth, be-tween Mandurah and Bunbury.

Leeuwin Offshore Wind is a wholly owned subsidiary of Copenhagen Energy, a Danish renewable energy developer with significant experience in developing offshore and onshore wind, solar PV, and battery storage in Denmark and throughout Europe.
