We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Development Manager to lead the expansion of our onshore wind and solar PV portfolio throughout the German market. Responsibilities
As our Senior Project Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the transition to cleaner energy. Your strategic approach will be essential in identifying opportunities, forging partnerships, and entering new markets for the successful expansion of our business.
- Proposal development: Lead the creation of compelling project proposals, considering technical, financial, and environmental aspects. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure comprehensive and competitive proposals.
- Project evaluation: Evaluate project feasibility, potential risks, and financial viability. Provide recommendations on the most promising projects to pursue, considering their alignment with business goals.
- Market Expansion: Take initiative to explore and discover new markets and opportunities within the German renewable sector by conducting thorough market re-search to identify trends, competitive land- scape, and potential areas for growth.
- Strategic partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to drive business development efforts. Collaborate with stakeholders to expand our project pipe-line and explore new opportunities.
- Developer engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential developers and industry partners. Present our capabilities and offerings effectively to foster interest and collaboration.
- Negotiations: Negotiate terms, contracts, and agreements with potential development partners. Ensure that agreements align with company objectives and are mutually beneficial.
- Strategic growth: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, landowners, contractors, and suppliers. Maintain positive relationships and communication channels to facilitate successful project execution.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Higher level of education within engineering, business administration or law, ideally with a focus on renewable energy or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of five years’ experience in project development roles. Candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply if they have experience in fast-paced / high impact environments.
- Software Proficiency: You bring hands-on experience and proficiency in GIS and maybe even WindPro software, contributing to informed decision-making and streamlined project development processes.
- Language Competence: Fluent German and English communication skills for effective collaboration. Additional languages are an advantage.
