The opportunity
As we are scaling up our trading activities across the European market, we are seeking an intraday power trader to join out team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our trading strategies and maximizing profitability within the intraday power market. Responsibilities related to the role include the following:
- Intraday trading: Trade power across our active markets in Europe within our risk mandates.
- Strategy development: Contribute in create and execute trading strategies.
- Engaging in new markets: Conduct market analysis for active and new markets.
- Collaborative environment: Work closely with developers and analysts
- Working hours: Participate in the team’s shift scheme, which includes day, eve and night.

Qualifications and experience
- Education: Master’s degree in finance, data science, business administration, or related topics.
- Proven expertise: Relevant trading experience will be highly valued, however, this is not required for this position. We encourage applicants with other relevant experience to apply.
- Competitive mindset: A drive to succeed and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team collaboration: Able to demonstrate a team atmosphere while presenting independent working abilities.
- Language proficiency: Exhibit full professional proficiency in English, enabling effective communication within our international team.

Copenhagen Energy Trading A/S was founded in 2021 and is part of Copenhagen Energy Group. We specialize in short-term proprietary wholesale power trading in Europe. We deploy in-house developed discretionary trading strategies as well as system-based trading strategies with the use of advanced analytics.
