Oremandsgaard Hybrid Park

About the project

Oremandsgaard Hybrid Park combines 3 turbines with a 115-hectare hybrid project located in Vordingborg Municipality in the southern part of Zealand. In total, the project will consist of 90MW.

The project was applied for in 2023 as one of the first large hybrid projects of Copenhagen Energy in cooperation with Oremandsgaard a farm operated with a historically large ecological and environmental focus.

The project entails yearly payments to a local fund. The money will be managed by the locals themselves and are meant to support local initiatives.

The project proposes building a solar park around 3 turbines, with the purpose of securing the optimal use of the grid connection. The project has been selected for permitting in 2024. Currently, the project is in the middle of the permitting process with a current focus on stakeholder dialogue and environmental investigations.

It is expected that the project will receive final political approval in the middle of 2026.

The rest of 2024 will see the project secure its grid connection via a Grid Connection Maturation Agreement with Energinet. Additionally many of the core environmental studies will be concluded under the management of the lead advisor, NIRAS will be finalized using state-of-the art detection equipment.
