Power-to-X

Power-to-X Business Model

We are developing Power-to-X from green field and all the way through the construction and into operation.
We intend to bring in a partner during the development phase of the project and divest fully at project level at Final Investment Decision.
  • Site Screening & Market Assessment
The initial development phase of our renewable energy projects includes market assessment and detailed preliminary evaluation of potential sites. This phase is crucial to identify sites which are most suitable for projects as well as to eliminate sites that are deemed to be unsuitable or unprofitable. We are continuously evaluating new markets, screening potential sites, and reaching out to landowners, local communities and partners to engage in dialogue.
If you own or represent a potentially suitable area for one of our projects or have an idea for a new project opportunity, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly. We’re always happy to give a preliminary site assessment or sit down for a cup of coffee and talk about everything renewable energy related. Let’s find out whether this is the beginning of something great or we keep drinking coffee for informal catchups.
  • Project development
The second phase oversees further development of the projects including various feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments. Feasibility studies are conducted to determine the legal, technical, environmental, and financial feasibility of the project. This includes staying up to date and applying the continuously evolving legal frameworks, evaluating the cost of installing and operating the wind farms and solar parks, the potential energy production, and the potential revenue generated by selling electricity produced.
We conduct project-specific environmental assessments to evaluate potential environmental impacts of the renewable energy source, assessing the impact on fauna, birds, and other wildlife, as well as the impact on local communities and the surrounding environment.
  • Detailed Engineering & Procurement
With the feasibility studies and the environmental impact assessment completed, the design and engineering phase begins. This involves finalizing the selection of type and size of wind turbines and solar panels, designing the foundation, as well as developing the electrical system and infrastructure.
Necessary permits and approvals must be obtained from the relevant authorities, including permits for grid connection, construction, operation, etc. Financing and investments for the projects are also secured during this phase.
  • Construction
Our projects are constructed with strong foundations to withstand forces of nature while efficiently capturing the power of the wind. Projects are integrated into the power grid, enabling transmission of generated energy to residences and businesses in the community or through PtX facilities.
These endeavors facilitate the transformation of renewable electricity into alternative energy forms, including hydrogen, synthetic fuels, and chemicals.
  • Operation, Decommissioning & Repowering
With the completion of the construction phase, projects enter the operation phase.  The projects are operated through a central control system that optimizes energy production. Our team is monitoring and managing assets to optimize production.
At the end of the lifetime, projects are decommissioned and, in some cases, repowered.
